Welcome to Kevin Lavender Business Rates Consultancy. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of our services, including but not limited to our website, consultations, and business rate review processes. By using our services, you agree to comply with these Terms. If you do not agree, please refrain from using our services.
Kevin Lavender Consultancy provides business rates consultancy services, including but not limited to business rates review, appeals, negotiations, relief application support, and the Check, Challenge, Appeal process with the VOA. Services are provided on a no-win, no-fee basis unless otherwise agreed in writing.
Our no-win, no-fee policy means that our clients will only pay for services if we successfully secure a reduction in their business rates. Specifics of this arrangement are detailed in individual service agreements, which must be signed before consultancy begins.
In specific circumstances where communication with the Valuation Office Agency (VOA) is required or where backdating of relief is assessed to have a low probability of success, a flat fee may be payable in advance. This fee will be fully disclosed and agreed upon with the client before proceeding with such services. Flat fees may apply to cover administrative and expert resources dedicated to cases where standard no-win, no-fee structures are less feasible.
Clients agree to provide accurate and complete information necessary for the consultancy process. Kevin Lavender Consultancy will not be held responsible for any errors resulting from incorrect or incomplete information provided by the client.
We are committed to maintaining the confidentiality of all client information. All proprietary information provided to us will be protected from unauthorised disclosure, except as required by law or necessary to perform our services on behalf of the client.
All materials, content, and designs provided by Kevin Lavender Consultancy, including but not limited to text, graphics, and logos, are the intellectual property of Kevin Lavender Consultancy. Unauthorised reproduction or distribution is prohibited.
Kevin Lavender Consultancy is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages resulting from the use of our services. Our total liability is limited to the amount paid by the client for the specific services rendered.
Kevin Lavender Consultancy reserves the right to terminate services at any time, with or without cause. In such cases, clients will be provided written notice, and no fees will be charged if termination occurs before successful completion of a service.
In the event of a dispute arising out of or related to these Terms or our services, both parties agree to first attempt informal resolution. If a resolution cannot be reached, the dispute will be resolved through binding arbitration in accordance with applicable UK law.
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising under these Terms will be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts located in England and Wales.
Kevin Lavender Consultancy reserves the right to amend these Terms at any time. Clients are encouraged to review these Terms periodically. The "Effective Date" at the top of this page indicates the last update.
